They call them Wings

I might be the only one, but Buffalo Wings have been a confusing name to me for sometime. I guess I could have done some research, but I never got around to it. What do chicken wings have to do with Buffaloes?

In NY yesterday, I was having a meeting with a customer and they mentioned they were going to order some wings for lunch. We got to talking and wondered - did the Buffalo Wing originate right there in Buffalo, NY? The locals confirmed that indeed, the Anchor Bar in Buffalo created what everyone knows as Buffalo Wings. But they just call them wings.
